In November 1997, the San Diego County District Attorney's Office began using civil injunctions as a tool to curb gang activity in some neighborhoods. Indicates all of the injunctions currently in effect throughout the County. Detailed maps are also listed below with the injunctions. In 2018, the District Attorney’s Office conducted an audit of the 788 individuals subject to San Diego County’s Gang Injunctions. We will conduct follow up audits once a year and send notices via mail to the individuals removed from injunction enforcement.
