So, I disconnected the connection. When the network is good later, I try to reconnect using MobilePartner. After the network connects, the page behind “My Zone” button in MobilePartner GUI continues to show the same Error (mentioned above) and refreshes frequently while I am browsing on my Chrome/IE browser. This Refresh by Mobile Partner GUI transfers the USER CONTROL automatically to the MobilePartner GUI and hence I am interrupted frequently while browsing.
Arpit Kumar November 11, 2014 at 2:44 pm Guys, Here is my temporary workaround for error 522: Don’t use mobile partner at all. Click on your network symbol in the task bar, and connect the connection directly. For the first time, windows will ask for the APN and username etc. Just put the APN of your network provider (mine is airtel, so I put airtelgprs.com) and leave the rest blank. After connecting, download a data counter software, which will keep track of your internet usage. I assume you guys already know how to find out the internet data consumed/available.
You can put the sim in another phone to find out the data usage once, just after installing the data counter application. BTW, I have tried everything for this error, but to no avail! I also tried downloading the old version of mobile partner, but that doesn’t install the key drivers, and shows “device unavailable” when started. The Huawei company is busy selling as many data cards as possible, without caring for their crap software support!
Arpit Kumar November 11, 2014 at 3:08 pm Hey, the method described by Aanand works great, at least in Windows 7 it does! Just goto the stated folder in C/program files/mobile partner/skin. Then, move the two html files somewhere else. It worked for me, now the application is working normally.
Note: In my attempt to solve this issue, I had installed this application in D:/program files, and not C: drive. Maybe, that’s why it worked for me. Just guessing, I know it’s not logical that changing the installation location will change anything, but at least give it a try!
